To the Society for Disabilities Official Homepage
Thank you for visiting our website. For 65 years the Society for Disabilities has enhanced the quality of life for people with disabilities within the Central Valley. The Society provides recreational programs including: adapted snow ski, water ski, bike camp, a Day on the Farm, bowling, and a prom. We also operate the largest loan closet of adapted medical equipment within Northern California, loaning out walkers, wheelchairs, bedside commodes and hospital beds for those in need. We teach sign language classes, are a resource and referral agency for the community, and run two thrift-stores, providing job training skills. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. Federal Tax Id#94-1279804

"Society for Disabilities enhances the quality of life for people with disabilities within the Central Valley"
Dan Costa and the Costa Family Foundation developed an idea to give back to the community, specifically with agencies that work with youth, by creating a highly delectable champagne community brunch event that will serve approximately 3,000 people. Chefs and four charities alike will work together in a competition style brunch for the chance at more than $100,000. We invite you to support the Society for Disabilities many programs through one of the sponsorship opportunities. The Community Brunch Serving Youth Fundraiser will be held on Sunday September 21th, 2014 at Modesto Center Plaza.
Tickets are also available to purchase to attend this event. Please do not pass up this opportunity to give back to your community and be marketed in a one-of-a-kind event! Volunteers needed!
