Day on the Farm

Day on the Farm brings joy to all in attendance

20 young budding farmers and their parents and grandparents enjoyed a day of fun at the annual "Day on the Farm" hosted by Society for Handicapped Children and Adults and Faire Breeze Appaloosa Ranch in Oakdale.

Kids aged 4-17 with Down Syndrome and Autism had the special treat of getting to ride a horse, pet a potbelly pig, paint their own horseshoe, enjoy a leisurely hayride and much more. Over 45 volunteers gave their time to make it an amazing experience for the kids and their families. Oakdale Lions wrapped up the day with a delicious ranch style bbq!
