A Modesto tradition spanning over 26 years, the Society continues the Warren Miller legacy the first weekend of every December. In 2011, the State Theatre in Modesto played host to the Society’s longstanding fundraising event, Warren Miller’s "...Like There’s No Tomorrow". Hosted by skiing icon Jonny Moseley and shot on location all around the world, Warren Miller films are your annual reminder that winter is on its way and, with it, four months of an adrenaline-fueled dance with gravity! Featuring world-class athletes, Warren Miller films celebrate those who take on the mountains with an abandon that amazes and inspires us all. Warren Miller films attract a cult-like following and mark the official start of winter for sports enthusiasts everywhere, they are an experience and phenomena not to be missed! A FREE lift ticket to a local ski resort is included with every movie entrant and most shows will SELL OUT! Tickets are sold online and at outlets throughout the Central Valley beginning in November. Mark your calendars now for December 2012! The Warren Miller film is also the kick off to our annual ski fundraiser, the Ski and Board-a-Thon held at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort .
